I sold a photo of Centennial Park at one of the first markets I ever did at @fine_grind_cafe . A person was enjoying themselves flipping through my photos and then froze. They held up a photo similar to this one and said “the other day I found a stack of old photos and one of them was of my whole family having a picnic right here. I can’t believe it.” For me, the magic of Instant Niagara is that my joy comes from finding a beautiful location with artistic value and using old technology and tools to capture it. I feel like once the photo is taken it is no longer mine – it’s just waiting to be discovered by someone who will find the sentimental and emotional value in it.
